Taskprayuj Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines how personal data is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected when you use the Taskprayuj Android application. We are committed to maintaining your privacy and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection laws, including India’s DPDP Act, GDPR, and Google Play Store Developer Policies.

• Notifications: Task reminders and other updates (Taskprayuj uses both local notifications and cloud notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging and Firebase In‑App Messaging to provide task reminders and other contextual guidance, contextual nudges and feature updates) .
• Microphone: Used for Voice reminder and voice Journaling, processed locally.
• Calendar Access: Optional for Calendar Sync feature; allows reading/writing calendar events.
• Advertising ID: Used for analytics and advertising purpose; can be reset anytime from device settings.

• Authentication: Name, Email, hashed passwords via Firebase Authentication.
• Date of birth: Collected for age verification purposes stored in firebase firestore database.
• Local Storage: Tasks, habits, journals stored securely on device.
• Analytics & Diagnostics: Firebase Analytics , Google Analytics and Crashlytics.
• Calendar Data: If you enable Calendar Sync, the app requests permission to read and write to your device's calendar. This data is used solely to display your tasks alongside your schedule and to create calendar events for your reminders. We do not store your calendar data on our servers, this data may be shared with gemini ai to provide ai features like task suggestion or productivity insights if you have enabled AI personalization.
• AI Integration: Anonymized task and journal snippets processed by Google Gemini AI if Ai personalization is enabled in app settings.
• Advertising Data Through Google AdMob, we collect data such as your device IP address, device identifiers (including Advertising ID), and information about your interactions with advertisements. This data is used to deliver relevant ads, measure ad campaign performance, and prevent fraudulent activity. For more information on how Google uses data in advertising, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Purchases: Our app offers virtual items (Coins). All financial transactions are processed securely by Google Play Billing. TaskPrayuj does not collect or store your credit card numbers or bank details. We only receive a transaction token and order ID from Google to confirm your purchase and credit the coins to your account.

• Opt-out of analytics and crash reporting via Settings > Data & Analytics.
• Disable AI personalization in Settings > AI Personalization.
• Personalized Advertising: You can manage your preferences for personalized advertising by resetting your Advertising ID in your device settings or by visiting Google's Ad Settings.
• Request deletion of personal data as outlined in Section 7.

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with following trusted third-party providers:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and messaging.
• Google Gemini: Anonymized data processed for productivity insights.
• Google AdMob: Integrated for displaying advertisements. AdMob collects and processes data as outlined in Section 3 to serve relevant ads and measure performance. AdMob's data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob Program Policies.
• Google Analytics: Used for tracking app usage and performance.
• Legal Necessity: Disclosure if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

This App uses virtual "Coins" to unlock AI features like voice reminders, AI habit suggestions, and AI Microlearning.

• Earnings: Earned via rewarded ads or in-app purchases.
• Value: These are purely functional digital items with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be sold, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
• Storage: We retain your purchase history and coin balance to ensure your items are available if you switch devices or reinstall the app. This data is linked to your account and is deleted if you request account deletion.
• All sales of virtual coins are final. Refunds are only issued in cases of technical failure where the purchased items were not successfully credited to the user's account.

• User Content: Stored locally until app uninstall or data clear.
• Analytics Data: Retained ~60 days in de-identified format.
• Account Data: Retained until account deletion request.

• Access & Correction: View/update personal data in app settings.
• Deletion: Delete account and data via the Delete Account button.
• Withdraw Consent: Revoke permissions or disable non-essential data collection anytime.
• Grievance Redressal: Contact developer for concerns; resolved within 30 days.

All data transmitted between Taskprayuj and Firebase servers is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS). We use Firebase App Check with Play Integrity to protect our services and your data. This service verifies that requests come from our genuine, unmodified app on a certified Android device. To achieve this, it may collect device-specific information (such as hardware and software version) to perform an integrity check. This data is used solely for security and fraud prevention..

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and certain US states, we use the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect and manage your advertising consent. You can change your preferences at any time via the "Ad Privacy Settings" in the app's Settings screen.

Taskprayuj is intended for users 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If discovered, such data will be deleted immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be notified within the app or on our website. Continued use of the app constitutes acknowledgment of updates.
